London, 25 February 2026 - Funding Circle, the UK’s leading SME finance platform, announces the further expansion of its payment ecosystem with the integration of Google Pay for its Cashback business credit card and FlexiPay customers.
Customers can use Google Pay to make payments directly from their devices, unlocking Funding Circle’s multi-product suite. This allows businesses to accrue cashback with every purchase, or split costs anytime for greater financial flexibility. The onboarding process is also streamlined so customers can add cards directly via the Funding Circle mobile app or through the Google Wallet app.
Google Pay integration leverages device built-in biometrics to enhance transaction security using a multi-factor authentication, and strengthens privacy as card numbers are never shared with merchants. Customers can safely and seamlessly use their devices to pay for everything from bills to business purchases.
Following the successful launch of Apple Pay in January 2026, this rollout broadens the platform’s digital wallet offering and ensures that Funding Circle’s tools stay aligned with the modern ways small businesses prefer to pay. By integrating Google Pay, Funding Circle is making its products even more convenient for daily use, allowing customers to keep their financial tools at the front of their digital wallet.
